This sub was designed for those that wanted more capability than a single 18" while not having room for the 24" driver. A pair of strong 85-lb 18" drivers utilize the full 4,000 watts of sustained power resulting in an incredibly powerful and hard-hitting subwoofer capable of producing prodigious amounts of tight, clean, articulate bass.
The Mariana 18SD comes standard with an SP1-4000 120 V plate amplifier that provides each subwoofer driver with 2,000 watts. An optional 240 V plate amplifier, the SP1-6000, is available which provides 6,000 watts total, 3,000 watts to each subwoofer driver. However, understand the SP1-6000 needs a 240 V 20 A circuit instead of a standard 120 V wall outlet. The standard Mariana 18SD provides 2,000 watts per driver, which is slightly underpowered however, the modest upgrade to the SP1-6000 provides a closer to optimal 3,000 watts per driver.

A Duratex durable coating is the standard finish. Maple, oak, and walnut are standard available veneers for an additional charge. Other veneers may be available, please contact us for details. A challenge with the Mariana 18SD is its size requires 12' long veneer so veneer options are reduced (exotics likely not available).
For our veneered subwoofers, our standard stain colors are Natural, Golden Brown, Light Brown, Orange, Cherry, Dark Brown, Rosewood, Espresso, and Black. We can also do custom colors to match items such as cabinets or furniture.
